WHAT WILL YOU SEE? WHAT WILL YOU EXPERIENCE?

Bogotá – We will explore the old town and the La Candelaria district, visit the world’s largest gold museum, and take a cable car up to Monserrate Hill, which offers stunning views of the 8-million-strong metropolis and the Toima volcano.

Tayrona National Park – The beaches in the park have been recognized by National Geographic as some of the 20 most beautiful beaches in the world. We will spend a day trekking, interspersed with relaxation on a paradise beach. During the trek through the tropical jungle, you’ll have the chance to observe unique Caribbean flora and fauna, including colorful parrots (loros) and 300 other species of birds, monkeys, turtles, iguanas, and more. The trek will lead us to several coves and beautiful white beaches with emerald waters, surrounded by lush tropical greenery.

Santa Marta – The oldest city in Colombia, located on the Caribbean Sea. We will soak in its unique atmosphere, and it will serve as our base for exploring Tayrona Park.

San Andrés – A paradise island. This Caribbean gem lies off the coast of Costa Rica and Nicaragua. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited, with white sand, azure waters, palm trees, exotic nature, and breathtaking views.

Mocoa – Located near the border with Ecuador. The greatest attraction of the Putumayo region is its natural beauty. Here you will find the largest waterfall, Fin del Mundo (End of the World), which is 80 meters high, as well as a scenic park. In this region, a shamanic ceremony with Amazonian medicine is planned.

PRICE INCLUDES:

  • Accommodation in hotels or guesthouses (double rooms with private bathroom, fan or air conditioning, typically 3-star standard). In case of an odd number of participants, accommodation may be in a triple room or a single.
  • Accommodation during the ceremony (very basic conditions in hammocks).
  • Domestic flights and transportation within Colombia, as well as airport-hotel-airport transfers.
  • Transportation during sightseeing (van, taxis, boat, public transport).
  • Cable car ride to Montserrat.
  • Extensive program of tourist attractions (entrance fees to museums, parks, Fin del Mundo waterfall, etc.).
  • Full-day boat trip to nearby beaches and park in San Andrés.

  • Meals: From experience, I know that everyone wants to try something different, and food in Colombia is cheap. In most places, a lunch set (soup, drink, and main course) can be had for about 5-10 EUR.
  • Flights to Bogotá 
  • Tourist tax for entry to the island (Tarjeta Turista), which costs around 40 EUR.
  • Other personal expenses (shopping, souvenirs, etc.).

PROGRAM: 23th Nov – 08th Dec 2024

Day 1 (23th Nov): Arrive in Bogotá no later than this day. Hotel check-in, and depending on the time of arrival, free time, a walk around the area, and sightseeing.

Day 2 (24th Nov): From morning until evening, we’ll spend the entire day exploring the capital of Colombia, visiting all the major attractions.

Day 3: Flight to the coast, to Santa Marta.

Days 3-5: Explore Santa Marta and enjoy a full-day excursion to Tayrona Park.

Day 6: Flight to the paradise island of San Andrés.

Days 6-8: Relax on the island, including a full-day tour (to nearby islets Acuario, park, Jhonny Cay), with free time for rest or island exploration.

Day 9: Flight from San Andrés to Bogotá, followed by an overnight bus ride to Putumayo.

Days 10-13: Explore Fin del Mundo waterfall and the nature reserve, enjoy free time, and participate in one overnight shamanic ceremony.

Night 13/14 or 14/15: Return by bus to Bogotá, followed by the flight home.

Day 15 (8th Dec): End of the program and the option to depart..

Ola Komorowska – your 1st guide

I have been invited to accompany you on your travels to Colombia. I have a deep love for travel, and South America, especially certain countries there, feels like my second home. I learned Spanish while living in Cuba during my childhood, and after moving to Poland and completing my studies in Iberian Studies, I have pursued my second passion by teaching Spanish. Spanish has always felt like the language of my heart and soul, and it was also the starting point of my journey into conscious living, spirituality, and self-discovery.

Traveling and guiding others in exploring the uniqueness of South America brings me great joy and a sense of fulfillment.

Adam Tkaczyk – Your 2nd Guide

Adam is a trainer and enthusiast of psychology and meditation, which he studied for several months under Buddhist monks in Thailand. He has been practicing for many years, drawing from the knowledge of teachers in Poland and abroad. He is also an entrepreneur, financier, and avid traveler, taking around 60-80 flights annually and spending over six months of the year traveling. Fluent in Spanish, Adam organizes developmental journeys to Thailand, Colombia, and Guatemala.

A graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, Adam has been running a financial company and a training firm for nearly 15 years. He is a member of the Association of Professional Speakers. He skillfully combines his diverse interests in spirituality, personal development, and business. Participants of his workshops and journeys particularly appreciate his exceptional openness, warmth, inner joy, and calm demeanor.
